Entity Overview & Hierarchy

Understanding how entities connect helps you manage them more effectively:

1. Users

Users can be:

  • Partners – Other users managing professionals or businesses.

  • Professionals / Owners – Individuals running a solo operation (e.g., barbers) or managing a business with multiple locations.

2. Business

Represents a company or brand. A user (usually a business owner) may manage one or more businesses.

3. Merchant

Represents a single location or storefront tied to a business or a professional. A business can have multiple merchants (e.g., different shop branches).

4. Terminal

Represents the POS or device used to process sales. Each terminal is assigned to a merchant.
