Discounts

    The Discounts feature allows businesses to create and apply discounts to orders and products in Cutflow.

    Discounts can be applied manually during order creation or configured to apply automatically when specific conditions are met. Businesses can define discounts for individual products or use them during specific periods, such as promotions or seasonal campaigns.

    When a discount is applied, it is reflected directly in the order total, ensuring pricing adjustments are clearly tracked and calculated. This feature helps businesses manage promotional pricing while maintaining accurate order records.

    How to create Discounts 

    The following instructions are based on the display in mobile mode (vertical view).

    1. Before tapping on “Save or Pay” to complete a transaction, tap the menu (...) at the top right corner of the screen, and tap the “Discount” button.

    2. If you haven’t already set up a discount: 

      1. Tap on “Add Discount”. On the Add Discount screen, select whether you want to set a discount automatically or manually. Enter a name for the discount, and then use the toggle button to determine whether the discount applies to the entire service or a specific item.
        If it is an Item discount: 

      2. Turn off the “General Discount” toggle.

      3. Tap the + sign on “Discount items”. Select the product or service the discount applies to.

      4. Input the discount fix value (if it’s a discount for a fixed amount) or the discount rate (if it’s a discount for a percentage of the price).

      5. Enter the minimum number of items required for the discount to be applied.

      6. Turn on or off the “Discount Applies to All” toggle. 
        If it is a General discount, input the discount rate or fixed value. 

      7. If you wish to make a seasonal discount, turn on the “Discount Schedule” toggle: Input the start and end dates, and/or the days of the week you wish for the discount to apply. 
        You can also set start and end hours. The created discount will be saved for later use.

    3. If you have set up a discount, select the discount you wish to apply.
    4. Confirm the discount information.
    5. Tap on the “Continue” button.
